NCT nXt: the new networking standard
NCT nXt is the next level of supporting the CBRNe community with knowledge and experience. NCT nXt events are small scale events focused on developing a CBRNe capability within a single country or city. The event will host short presentations by a variety of local and national stakeholders presenting both their current capabilities and their ambition to develop a future capability, but the focus is on discussions and sharing. Each session is therefore build around a scenario, and participants are asked to discuss how they would respond to such a scenario.
During the nXt Product Tour, participating companies will present on products and solutions that can be used and implemented by the host country or city to develop their capabilities to the level of ambition they have. Companies have a small presentation area where they can display products or a screen with a presentation and their brochures. The group of delegates is split in smaller groups (3-6 persons) that will tour by all the companies for 10-15 minutes per company. The NCT nXt events are relatively modest in size: between 20 and 40 participants, including the international experts to allow for a free and open discussion. Each NCT nXt event will be fully catered including lunch and a drinks reception.
The conversations and presentations during NCT nXt are trusted and confidential. Only when speakers agree, it will be possible to receive a Powerpoint, or take pictures of a presentation. Unless agreed otherwise, the event will take place using the Chatham House Rule: when a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker, nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.
